Staying at Hilo Bay Oceanfront was an absolute treat. the serene setting with the sound of crashing waves just below our window truly made it a peaceful retreat. the continental-style rooms exuded coziness, and the comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep. Cheryl's delicious breakfast spread, including fluffy pancakes and savory omelets, was a delightful start to each day. the hosts, Brian and Tomomi, were incredibly warm and accommodating, making us feel right at home. the location, within walking distance to downtown Hilo, was convenient for exploring the nearby attractions. Overall, the attention to detail at this B&B was impeccable - from the plant-based breakfast options to the thoughtful touches like beach towels and snacks. the absence of air conditioning was hardly missed, thanks to the cool ocean breeze and effective ceiling fan. the personal recommendations from the hosts for nearby restaurants and activities enhanced our experience even further. Would highly recommend this gem of a place for a tranquil and authentic stay in Hilo.
